Privacy policy

This explains what personal information we collect through www.allaspectsconstruction.co.uk, what we do with it, and what rights you have over it. It is written to be read, not to be waded through.
Who we are
All Aspects CDF LTD, 11a Royal Buildings, Stanwell Road, Penarth, CF64 3ED. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at info@allaspectsconstruction.co.uk or 029 2003 6677.
What we collect, and when
We only collect information you choose to give us. There are four ways that happens on this site.
| Where | What we receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry forms on any page |
Your name, email address, phone number, your message, and which service and page you enquired from. | So we can reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit. |
| Cost estimators on the loft, extension, kitchen & bathroom and renovation pages |
The options you select are added to your message if you press “Send me this estimate”. On their own they are not sent anywhere and identify nobody. | So the figure you saw arrives with your enquiry and we can talk about the same thing. |
| The chat window | What you type into the chat, and your name and phone number if you choose to leave them. | To answer your questions and, if you ask us to, to call you back. |
| The Design Studio at /design-studio |
Your name, phone number, email address, postcode and address, along with the design you configured. | To price the design and arrange a survey. We need the address because the price depends on the property. |
If you arrived from one of our adverts, we also receive the advert reference so we know which advert produced the enquiry. That is a campaign identifier, not information about you.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website, and we never ask for them by email. If you receive a message claiming to be from us asking for card or bank details, please ring us on 029 2003 6677 before acting on it.
Our lawful basis for using it
- Replying to your enquiry and quoting for work — this is either taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to.
- Carrying out work you have booked — performance of our contract with you.
- Advertising cookies — your consent, which you give or refuse through the cookie banner and can change at any time.
- Keeping records after a job — our legal obligations, including tax records and construction and building control requirements.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. It is handled by:
- Our own customer system, which is where enquiries arrive and where your job is managed. It is hosted for us by Railway, in the United Kingdom and Europe.
- Google, if you accepted advertising cookies, so we can see that an advert led to an enquiry. Google receives that an enquiry happened, not the contents of it. See our cookie policy.
- The services we use to reply to you — email, SMS and WhatsApp providers, which necessarily carry the message we send you.
- Tradespeople and suppliers working on your job, where they need your address or contact details to do the work. Only what they need, only for that job.
This website also loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. That happens before any cookie choice, because it is part of how the page is displayed rather than tracking.
How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not become work | Up to 2 years, then deleted |
| Records of work we carried out | 6 years after the job ends, to meet tax and limitation requirements |
| Chat conversations | Up to 12 months |
| Your cookie choice | 12 months, then we ask again |
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it, where we do not have to keep it for legal reasons;
- stop using it for a particular purpose, or restrict how we use it;
- send it to you or another provider in a portable form.
Email info@allaspectsconstruction.co.uk and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Cookies
Set out separately in our cookie policy, including how to change your choice.
Security
Enquiries are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in an access-controlled system. No system is completely secure, but we limit who can see your details to the people who need them to quote for or carry out your work.
Children
This site is aimed at homeowners and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we use your information we will update this page and the date at the top.
